What is a Banya?
An Authentic European Banya is a traditional steam sauna that combines high heat, steam, and relaxation rituals like oak broom sessions to promote detox, circulation, and overall wellness.
Is the Banya safe for everyone?
Banya is generally safe, but if you have serious medical conditions, cardiovascular issues, or are pregnant, please consult your doctor before visiting.
Who can book a Banya session?
Only 21+ years old person can make a reservation, must provide a copy of ID and sign a waiver.
What is a cancelation policy?
The payment is not refundable! Cancelation is minimum 24-hours prior to the reservation. In this case only the payment may be used for the next session. If cancelation made less than 24 hours prior the session, the payment cannot be used in the future.
How long is a Banya session?
For the "Rent & Relax" and "Signature Spa" packages, the minimum rental time is 4 hours, with a maximum capacity of 6 people. For the "Royal Retreat" package, the rental time is approximately 1.5 hours for 1 person, up to 2.5 hours for 4 people.
What is the temperature in the Banya?
The average temperature in the Banya is around 80°C (176°F), while the maximum can reach up to 100°C (212°F). This heat is maintained by a traditional wood-burning stove and the special wall and ceiling insulation of the sauna. To keep the temperature steady, the stove must be monitored and wood added regularly - or you can choose our "Royal Retreat" package which includes the assistance of a professional Banya supervisor.
What is an oak broom session?
An oak broom session involves tapping the body with an oak broom, which improves circulation, relieves muscle tension, and enhances the detox process. A broom acts like a massage with a steaming benefit and a positive effect on the lungs and breathing.
Do you provide meals or drinks?
We provide a cooler with drinking water for all packages. We provide mineral water, tea, coffee and refreshments if you choose our "Royal Retreat" package.
