Project Overview

This sauna remodeling project focused on transforming an outdated and heavily used sauna into a modern, comfortable, and more efficient wellness space. The client wanted to preserve the existing structure while enhancing its appearance, functionality, and overall user experience.

The Challenge

The existing sauna showed signs of wear, including aging interior wood, outdated equipment, and inefficient ventilation. The challenge was to modernize the space and improve performance while working within the existing structure and minimizing disruption to the surrounding area.

The Solution

Our team completed a full renovation, replacing interior wood paneling and benches, upgrading the heater and control systems, improving insulation and ventilation, and installing modern lighting and finishing details. Based on the client's preferences, we installed two heating systems - a traditional wood-fired stove for an authentic banya experience and an electric heater for added convenience and everyday use, giving the client the flexibility to choose either heating method. Every element was carefully selected to enhance durability, comfort, and energy efficiency while preserving the character of the original sauna.
